An angel wrote in the Book of Life
My baby's date of birth
Then whispered as she closed the book
"Too beautiful for Earth"
The past 7 months I grew to know Tristan and to love him. Even though I never saw him smile, cry, or
yawn I knew what kinds of foods he liked and didn't like, what kind of music made him dance and put
him at rest and what kind of stories he liked. I didn't think he was wonderful just because he
existed, I knew he was wonderful because I knew him and loved him as a whole complete person.
He accomplished much in his seven months. He gave me a lifetime of memories and stories. And even in
his death, I know that he will help me to cope, understand, and heal.
I know all of us here have already been touched by the passing of Tristan. All of us were looking
forward to getting to know him better, all of us were looking forward to seeing him grow and learn.
Hopefully, in his death we can all gain a greater appreciation of that which life provides us, and a
greater appreciation of what a great, wonderful gift children truly are.
Although life has taken my little Tristan from me, I am still able to count my many blessings. But I
believe that my biggest blessing has been all of you. I can't imagine how I would have coped through
this difficult time without all of you. Thank you all for your kind words, your thoughts, your
prayers, and your sympathy.

A little angel unknown I, am, my place is as an angel in a secret land.
I didn't have a name as such, you didn't get the chance,
I wasn't meant to live on earth just touch you by the hand.

but its only special people that are chosen exceptions to the rules.

Tristan- It's your auntie Leslie here, I was looking forward to having a little boy in the family so we can do boy things instead of all the girlie things we are always doing with your cousin and your big sister. Everytime the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, or WILDs win a game we will know that your the one that made that happen. We love you Tristan. Uncle Jeffy says hi and that he loves you and cousin JoJo has been praying to you everynight before bed. You will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. Your mom loves you very much but you already know that because you are a very smart little boy just like your mom. Jojo blew some kisses up to heaven I hope you got them. We send our love to you up there above.

Even though we have our sisterly disagreements and can't stand eachother sometimes we are stuck together and we love eachother and each knows that we are there for eachother when one needs us. I know that right now you need me and I will be there for you no matter what. Whether it be a phone call at 3am, if you need me to come over, if you need someone to yell at, anything at all just let me know and I will be there. I love you Ashley and I will help you whatever way I can. I know you love Tristan and I know you always will. He will always love you too Ashley. He knows what kind of mom you are he was listening when he was in you. He heard the lullabies you sing, he heard how you loved to laugh, he knew the obstacles you encountered everyday but always overcame, he knows everything about you because he had that bond with you because you are his wonderful, amazing, loving mother. Jojo says hi auntie and that she loves you soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much and she misses you.

I met your mom while ago and my heart was touched. She is one of those people who carry courage, dignity and love in her eyes, I could not help it but to admire her. I know how difficult this is for her and for the people who love her. I know how much she loves you and how much she wanted you with her. Life is not an easy thing, philosophers says so,although I can tell you that yes, in deed life is a difficult thing but also is full of wonders and joy. We know you will be in your mom's heart as long as she lives and you will experience life and all the human emotions and situations through her. We know you will be always loved by her and she will always have this warm and cozy spot on her heart just for you.You have become her personal angel, her adviser, her bodyguard, her friend, her beloved son. I want you to know I considere your mom a very special person, she has a lot to offer to the world, you are blessed with a wonderful mother, who always will be with you in spirit, in memories and in your heart. Tristan I am sad that we were not able to spend some time with you. I know that you will be well taken care of up there in heaven by family who has passed. I am sure right now your great grandma is spoiling you and taking great care of you. Keep close to your mom she needs to know that your near her in spirit.

I wish that I could take the pain away but I cannot do that, if I could then I would. There is no greater heartache then to see your child in pain. Just remember that Tristan is with you in your heart. If you need anything you call your old man and I'll be there. Bobbi and Kally send their love and Bobbi says if you need a shoulder to cry on, someone to listen to you, or anything at all call her. Take it easy kid I love you.
